Sales Director - Capco - Hong Kong

The Opportunity
Capco, A Great Place to Work® 2013 Best Small & Medium Workplaces and a Consulting Magazine “Best Firms to Work For” 2013,is rapidly expanding our footprint in Asia Pacific and are looking for a Sales Director dedicated to the Hong Kong Market.
Key Strengths Desired:
Complete understanding of IT services; specifically around niche package technologies, regulatory environment and outsourcing services
Strong grasp of today’s technologies in the investment banking sector, cost cutting strategies in play in investment banking today, CIO agendas for HK.
Ability to gather initial requirements and autonomously design solutions from end-to-end in order to solve a business challenge.
Understanding the channel, vendors, deal registration/bid management and certifications with a strong desire to put these processes in-place for the business for both new and existing vendors.
Key Sales Strengths:
Demonstrable track record in successfully winning new business in both managed IT services and IT solutions by employing a consultative approach.
Proactive development of existing accounts through scheduled calls, face-to-face meetings, events and entertaining.
Working hand-in-hand with global alliance partners to foster the companies ethos of Service Delivery, and to maximise sales opportunities where requirements have been identified.
Capable of growing own sales pipeline using a variety of mediums that will include calls, email marketing, networking, face-to-face meetings and occasional use of external agencies for specific, targeted campaigns.
Proven competent new business and account management sales experience within the Financial Services sector especially focussed on investment banks and other capital market institutions
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience, of having worked at leading international financial services technology services firms
Excellent track record of creating, managing, negotiating and closing consultancy and SI services contracts
Must have an established book of contacts who have been sold to and with whom you have deep and trusted relationships in HK and APAC (nice to have)
Ideal client base would be a mixture of the international banks and domestic banks based in HK
Salary is extremely competitive and is designed to attract top talent with a high base and attractive variable plus bonus.
